Need Suggestions

I'm getting ready to make another pair of mittens for Ellie, a little bet bigger.

I'm trying to think of something to put in between the layers so she won't get her hands wet and mingers all red and cold when she's old enough to play in the snow.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Something that wont disintegrate, something that will last even in the washer and dryer.

Hmmm, I don't know, other than fleece, but that won't be waterproof. I bet the fabric store could recommend something for you!

You know they make bibs with a thin waterproof liner on the back...what is that stuff? Maybe the fabric store could tell you. Just make sure it's NOT made out of PVC. Some bibs were made with a lining that contained PVC & they found out later (of course) it contains lead.

Thank you. I will ask at the fabric store or since Cinda goes there from time to time I might have her ask about it.
